Overview
Start your four days excitement trip at Siem Reap where you will first visit the most wonderful ancient temples of Angkor, Built during the Khmer Empire and fully understand Cambodian
culture. The jungle has reclaimed the scattered temples to create magical unions of stone
and nature. Head down to Phnom Penh and wander long tree-lined boulevards past colonial buildings. Sense the past glory of the city that was once the "Pearl of Asia". Finally, unwind completely on the pristine, undeveloped beaches of Sihanoukville in the south.
Detail Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Siem Reap
Siem Reap has now transformed into a sophisticated tourist centre
for receiving visitors, thanks to the temple of Angkor, the ancient capital of the Khmer empire. The city centre has retained its rural charm, the former French shops, tree-lined boulevards and the
river which winds lazily alongside signs for the future.
Arrive in Siem Reap and transfer to your hotel. Siem Reap is the base for exploring the fabled temples of Angkor, the ancient capital of the Khmer Empire. Start with a visit to the Roluos
Group including Preak Ko, Ba Kong and Lo Lei. In the afternoon, depart by Tuk Tuk to visit
the magnificent 12th century Angkor Wat. The day ends with a spectacular sunset at Phnom Bakheng.

Day 2: Siem Reap-Angkor Thom (B)
Today there is an early start to catch the sunrise (optional) before returning to the hotel for breakfast. Then depart to visit Angkor
Thom's famous South Gate where you will take an elephant ride
to Bayon Temple which depicts intricate scenes of traditional Cambodian life. From the Bayon continue on foot to the Baphoun, recently re-opened to the public, where you will pass by the
wooden Royal Palace. Then continue to the Terrace of the Elephants where a parade used to be held for the king.

In the afternoon continue to Srah Srang, Banteay Kdei, Chau Say Tevoda, Thommanon and the fabulous Ta Prohm Temple, embraced by the roots of enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers.

Day 3: Siem Reap - Exclusion banteay Srey-K.Spean (B)
After breakfast, drive to Banteay Srei, Kbal Spean (River of 1,000 Lingas) and Banteay Samre. These temples are amongst the most intricate in all of Cambodia.

In the afternoon, continue to Pre Rup, East Mebon, Neak Poan and Preah Khan.

Day 4: Siem Reap - Tonle Sap (B)
After breakfast, drive to Lake Tonle Sap where you will have the opportunity to learn about life on the lake. Tonle Sap is South
East Asia’s largest freshwater lake with its size varying greatly depending on the season. During the dry season it is roughly
2,500 km2, swelling to about 4 times it size in during the wet
season: 10,000 km2.
We will board a boat and visit the Kampong Pluk village where we’ll see floating houses, farms and even a floating hospital. In the afternoon, you will visit the Angkor National Museum that
you can find all the collections of status that you can not visit at the temples.

Day 5: Siem reap - Phnom Penh (B)
After breakfast, and depending on departure flight, visit the
Siem Reap market and/or the workshops of Artisans d'Angkor
(wood and stone carving) and/or the Landmine Museum of
Mr Aki Ra. Then transfer to Siem Reap Airport for the short
flight to Phnom Penh from where you will be escorted to
the hotel.

Day 6: Phnom Penh - City Tour (B)
Phnom Penh is the capital of Cambodia, located in the southwest
of the country, on the Tonle Sap River a tributary of the Mekong.
The city takes its name from the wat Phnom Daun Penh (now
known only as Wat Phnom, or "hill of the temple"), religious
building built in 1373 to house five statues of Buddha on a
mound of 27 m high.
After breakfast, start the morning with a cycle ride to the Silver Pagoda, the Royal Palace and
the National Museum. Later in the day you will depart by car to visit Wat Phnom followed by
Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, the Russian Market and the infamous Choeung Ek 'Killing Fields'.

Day 7: Phnom Penh - Sihanouk Ville (B)

After breakfast transfer to Cambodia's most famous beach resort, Sihanouk Ville. Arrive in around midday and transfer to the hotel where you can enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 8: Sihanouk Ville (B)

Today, enjoy more time at leisure with the vehicle and guide also available. There is an optional visit and boat ride to Ream National Park (not included).

Day 9: Sihanouk Ville - Phnom Penh (B)

As yesterday, you will be able to swim and relax at the resort with a vehicle on standby before the afternoon transfer back to Phnom Penh.

Day 9: Departure to Phnom Penh (B)
After breakfast you will be free to explore Phnom Penh at your own leisure before the transfer to Phnom Penh Airport for departure flight.

Note: This tour can also start in Phnom Penh.
