DAY 1: SIEM REAP ARRIVAL

Arrive in Siem Reap, meet your guide and transfer to hotel for check in. Siem Reap is the base for exploring the fabled temples of Angkor, the ancient capital of the Khmer Empire.

In the afternoon, visit the Great City of Angkor Thom, which was the last capital of the Great Khmer Empire under the reign of Jayavarman VII. You will arrive via the South Gate, an impressive stone gate carved with Elephants and 4 giant faces. From here you continue and enter the city and arrive at the
Bayon Temple. This temple lies exactly in the center of the city. The particularity of this monument is the 54 towers representing the 54 provinces of the then Great Khmer Empire. Each tower has 4 faces. Continue to visit the terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King.

DAY 2: SIEM REAP - SMALL CIRUIT – ANGKOR
WAT (B)


After breakfast, explore the temples of the Small Circuit. The most famous among these is Ta Prohm temple, built in the mid 12th to early 13th centuries. This makes Ta Prohm one of the most picturesque and memorable of the Angkor temples. Your visit will also include Banteay Kdei, a Buddhist monastery from the late 12th Century, and Srah Srang, also known as the “pool of ablutions”. End your tour at the twin towers of Chau Say Tevoda and Thommanon.

IIn the afternoon, visit the biggest religious temple in the world; the magnificent Angkor Wat Temple. Built by Suryavarman II, in early 12th century Angkor Wat is constructed following the model of the temple mountain symbolizing the Mount Merou, home of the gods. The day ends with a spectacular sunset at Phnom Bakheng.

DAY 3: EXCURSION BANTEAY SREI – BIG CIRCUIT (B)

After breakfast, drive to the rural outskirts of Siem Reap, about 35km from town, where you will visit Banteay Srey, also known as the Citadel of women. This temple is considered to be the birthplace of Khmer classical style architecture. It is a small temple but its pink sandstone carvings are impressive. You will also visit Banteay Samre, a 12th century temple built by Suryavarman II and decorated with scenes inspired by the Ramayana.


Afternoon, combine your visits between a visit of the "Big circuit" comprising Pre Rup, East Mebon, Neak Poan and Preah Khan.

DAY 4: SIEM REAP – PHNOM PENH (B)

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your departure flight to Phnom Penh. Upon arrival, meet your guide and transfer to hotel. Phnom Penh was once considered one of the most beautiful in the Orient, and despite its recent turbulent history it still retains a colonial charm.

In the afternoon, visit Phnom Penh including the Royal Palace complex. This palace dates from 1866 and was the last one built during the French colonial period. The same complex
houses the Silver Pagoda, named for the over 5000 silver tiles that cover its floors. Its original name is Wat Prakeo, meaning Temple of the Emerald Buddha. In this temple you will view a collection of Buddhas in gold, silver, crystal, and bronze. Continue on to the National Museum, built in 1917.

DAY 5: PHNOM PENH – CITY TOUR (B)

After breakfast, visit the Toul Sleng Museum of Genocidal Crimes. The museum is housed in a former school which was taken over by the Khmer Rouge and used as a detention and torture centre. You will also visit Cheung Ek, better known as the Killing Fields, located 15 kilometres outside of the city.




In the afternoon, Spend a half day exploring the markets of Phnom Penh like Central Market and Russian Market, the best place in the city for wooden and stone carvings, old coins, jewellery, and Cambodian and Chinese silk clothes.

DAY 6: PHNOM PENH – SIHANOUK VILLE (B)

After breakfast, you will take the Road National 4 departure to Sihanoukville with your English guide. The trip is about 4 hours. Mid day arrival in Sihanoukville and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 7: SIHANOUK VILLE – FREE AND EASY (B)

Breakfast at hotel. Free at leisure time for swimming and relaxation on the beach without driver and guide.

DAY 8: SIHANOUK VILLE – FREE AND EASY (B)

Breakfast at hotel. Free at leisure time for swimming and relaxation on the beach without driver and guide.

DAY 9: SIHANOUK VILLE - PHNOM PENH (B)

Breakfast at hotel, free at leisure time for swimming and relaxation on the beach without driver and guide.

After lunch (around 13:00), meet your English guide and drive back to Phnom Penh. Upon arrival transfer to your hotel.


Overnight in Sihanouk Ville.
DAY 10: PHNOM PENH DEPARTURE (B)

Free till transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
