DAY 1 : PHNOM PENH ARRIVAL
Arrive in Phnom Penh, meet your guide and transfer to hotel for check in. This city was once considered one of the most beautiful in the Orient and despite its recent turbulent history it still retains a colonial charm. In the afternoon, visit Phnom Penh including the Royal Palace complex. This palace dates from 1866 and was the last one built during the French colonial period. The same complex houses the Silver Pagoda, named for Wat Prakeo, meaning Temple of the Emerald Buddha. In this temple you will view a collection of Buddhas in gold, silver, crystal, and bronze. Continue on to the National Museum, built in 1917. Housed there are over 5000 statues, lingas and others artifacts arranged according to pre- Angkor and post –Angkor periods of Cambodia history and Wat Phnom hill, founding place of the city.
Overnight in Phnom Penh DAY 2 : PHNOM PENH – FULL DAY CITY TOUR (B)
After breakfast, visit the Toul Sleng Museum of Genocidal Crimes. The museum is housed in a former school which was taken over by the Khmer Rouge and used as a detention and torture centre. You will also visit Cheung Ek, better known as the Killing Fields, located 15 kilometres outside of the city. Spend a half day exploring the markets of Phnom Penh. In the afternoon, you will also visit the Russian Market, the best place in the city for wooden and stone carvings, old coins, jewellery, and Cambodian and Chinese silk clothes. Late this afternoon, board a boat for a sunset cruise on the Mekong River. The boat leaves its pier slowly to the front of the Royal Palace where you can view it with the nice towers from the river. Overnight in Siem Reap DAY 3 : PHNOM PENH – SIEM REAP (B)
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your departure to Siem Reap. Upon arrival in Siem Reap, meet your guide and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, start the tour to visit with the South Gate of the Great City of Angkor Thom, the famous Bayon temple, the Baphoun, the Terrace of Elephants and Terrace of the Leper King. DAY 4 : SIEM REAP – FULLDAY TOUR (B)
In the morning, explore “Small Circuit” the fabulous Ta Prohm Temple, embraced by the roots of enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers. You will also visit “Big Circuit” Neak Poan and Preah Khan. In the afternoon, we concentrate our attention on the great magnificent 12th century Angkor Wat temple. Overnight in Siem Reap
DAY 5 : SIEM REAP – LUANG PRABANG (B)
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for the departure flight to Luang Prabang. Upon arrival, meet your guide and transfer to hotel. The sightseeing of Luang Prabang World Heritage City will begin with the visit of Vat Visoun, Vat Aham, Vat May, Xieng Thong. Then we will climb up together the Phousi Hill with 328 steps to see the view of the town from the top the mount and the sun set on the Mekong River. The today sightseeing will end with the visit of the Night Market on the main street of Luang Prabang.
Overnight in Luang Prabang.
DAY 6 : LUANG PRABANG – FULLDAY TOUR (B)
Early in the morning (at 5.30AM or 5.45AM, depending on the season) our guide will me you at the lobby of the resort, then we will transfer you to the town to watch the alms-giving where more than 200 Monks pass on the main street. After the processing, we will transfer you back to Resort for breakfast. 08.30: We will continue the sightseeing by visiting the Former Royal Palace, then we will have a boat trip to the Holy Pak Ou Caves. Our guide will meet you at the lobby, then you will be transferred to the pier to embark on a small private traditional boat for the trip to Pak Ou Caves. On the way stop to visit local village on the Mekong River Banks. Then, you will visit Tam Ting Cave (the lower cave) and Tam Poum Cave (the upper cave).
15.00: You will return by boat to Luang Prabang. On the way, stop visit Ban Sang Hai to see local traditional distillery ‘lao Lao’. Arrival in Luang Prabang, you will disembark at Ban Sang Khong Village to visit the Sa-a paper making and Lu weaving handicraft. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
DAY 7 : LUANG PRABANG – HO CHI MINH (B)
Today, you will leave Luang Prabang to Ho Chi Minh. If time allows, we will have a land excursion to Tad Kwangsi, the splendid waterfall in the outskirt of Luang Prabang. On the way, you will visit Ban Na Ouane, a Hmong Village, moving from the Kwangsi area. You will see Hmong ladies pass their time in sewing and sell their handmade products in the village. When you arrive at the Tad Kwangsi, you will feel the coolness of the waterfall. It is a relaxing site where you may swim and have a walk around. We will return to the Resort for check-out before noon and will have lunch before transferring to Luang Prabang Airport for leaving Luang Prabang. If your flight does not allow, the excursion to Kwangsi Waterfall will be arrange on day 2.
On arrival at Tan San Nhat Airport you are met and transferred to hotel.
DAY 8 : HO CHI MINH - MEKONG DELTA - HO CHI MINH (B)
Heading out of the town, we travel by road to My Tho province. Arriving My Tho we embark on a boat navigating around the small canals in the Mekong delta, which is a great way to observe the local lifestyle close-up. We pass through the lush green vegetation to an orchard where opportunities to visit various fascinating local industries. After feasting on a huge lunch followed with seasonal fruits, we return to Ho Chi Minh for overnight. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.
DAY 9 : HO CHI MINH - DANANG – HOIAN (B)
The sightseeing tour in Ho Chi Minh city start with the Reunification Palace, which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of April 1975, and some French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Sai Gon Post Office. The Jade Emperor Pagoda and the War Remnant Museum also visit before take flight to Da Nang. On arrival you are greeted and driven to Hoian. The ancient architecture of Hoian is a fascinating combination of Vietnamese traditional characters with Chinese and Japanese influence. There are plenty to see in this delightful and tranquil town, some of which are the famous Japanese Covered Bridges, the Pottery Museum, the 200 years old Tan Ky House, the Chua Ong Pagoda, the vibrant market. We visit these on our morning walking tour past many low tiled houses scattered along the small streets and assembly halls, which reflect the town's multi-cultural past.

DAY 10 : HOIAN – DANANG – HUE (B)
Upon leaving Hoian, we drive north to Hue. On the way to Hue, we make stopover at the sensational Marble Mountains, the China Beach and Da Nang City for a visit to the Cham Museum. We then follow the road crossing over the scenic Hai Van Pass before arriving in Hue Vietnam's last imperial capital of Vietnam. We will visit the Royal Residence, Imperial City and the Purple Forbidden City was destroyed during the 1968 Tet Offensive, however it is still fascinating to walk among the ruins. The next stop of our trip is the elaborate royal tomb of Emperor Tu Duc and the famous pagoda of Tu Hieu. Overnight in Hue.
DAY 11 : HUE – HANOI - HALONG (B)
After breakfast we embark on a boat for cruise up stream on the Perfume River which will give us a taste of the scenic countryside as well as an enjoyable visit beautiful pagoda of Thien Mu. The rest of your time will be free for your own exploration of the town before boarding a short flight to north. Arriving at Noibai Airport we be greeted and driven to Halong bay, truly one of Vietnam’s most scenic impressive sights. Overnight in Halong.
DAY 12 : HALONG - HANOI (B)
Upon leaving the town we take a four hour cruise around Halong bay, which provides a great opportunity to explore the picturesque scenery blending with the sky and some 3,000 limestone islands rising amazingly from the clear and emerald water. The limestone karts formations are littered with beaches, grottoes and beautiful caves. A long the way we will anchor for a leisurely swim in a secluded cove and an enjoyable visit to one of the many hidden grottoes beneath towering cliffs. After a seafood lunch on board we return to Hanoi, stopping en route at Dong Trieu pottery village.

DAY 13 : HANOI DEPARTURE (B)
Today we enjoy a full day city tour starting with the Ho Chi Minh Complex, containing the mausoleum of the nation’s founder Ho Chi Minh, the Presidential Palace and the Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts. This complex also comprises the One Pillar Pagoda, whose origins date back to the foundation of city. We follow this with a trip to the Temple of Literature, which is well known as the first university of Vietnam and the impressive Ethnologic Museum, dedicated to Vietnam's 54 ethnic groups. Late afternoon we transfer to Noi Bai airport for departure. Our trip ends when group arrive at the airport. |
